Contemporary Praise Band Leader
​Dave Barton taught Music at the high school level, and was a Special Education teacher and Guidance Counselor for the Limestone District School Board. He currently teaches for the St. Lawrence College Music and Digital Media program. He is a studio musician, jazz guitarist, percussionist, private teacher, arranger and composer, working in jazz, pop and classical music. He has performed with many of Canada’s great jazz players in concerts and on recordings.

Dave’s large-form compositions have been performed by the Toronto Jazz Orchestra, the Greg Runions Big Band, Brasswerks, and the Queen’s University Jazz Ensemble.
